Duke

Meet the lovely Duke whose 8 years old and is being rehomed through no fault of his own

We are not entirely sure what Duke is crossed with but we suspect it’s a mastiff or maybe Great Dane

Duke is entire

We would suggest Duke is rehomed with adopters who have teenage children as Duke is worried about babies and little ones which is why he’s being rehomed

Our volunteer went to assess him and said he’s a lovely boy who will do well in a home with an adopter who works from home or are retired

He is a tank of a dog and has the one human is all I need sort of feeling to him so would do well with lots of company

He is a total daddies boy

Duke cannot be homed where there are cats

Duke does pull on the lead initially so would require a strong adopter to hold him

Duke was a sweetheart when I met him, was kissing me and sitting beside me throughout the assessment

Duke is fully housetrained and is good with dogs his own size, he is afraid of little dogs

Duke is desperate for a home where he can be settled and spend the rest of his life not worrying about little people
