Duchess

Meet our duchess who really is the sweetest of girls who is desperate for a home

Duchess is 7 years old and is not spayed

She’s a typical Black and Tan short coated beauty

Duchess is being rehomed through no fault of her own

Duchess will bark when somebody knocks the door and goes over for a sniff, she doesn’t jump up or chew when left, she is used to having company but can be left for 6hrs if needed

She greeted our volunteer wanting a fuss and loved attention, she is extremely friendly and sat at her feet

Duchess is house trained and will let you know when she wants to go out by opening the door

She is very treat orientated and took treats very gently

Duchess is good on the lead and has excellent recall, she was very excited to see the lead
she currently lives with two other male dogs and interacts with them beautifully especially the very small male

Duchess pulled at first on the lead and is walked on a collar and lead, she is used to walking off lead in the woodlands and enjoyed playing with the stick bringing it back each time

Duchess didn’t bother with any of the dogs she saw in the distance but enjoyed going to see a spaniel who she treated with a sniff to say hello

If another dog barks at her she will woof back which is typical for the breed

There was no pulling on the lead on the way back

Duchess could live with children over 8

She’s not tested with cats

This is a beautiful girl who really has no behaviour problems and will be a dream in her new home
