Dixie is a beautiful 2 year old Gsd who was found straying with her older sister which resulted in both ending up in the stray kennels. They did their 7 days and then came into rescue. Her sister has since been rehomed and it’s now Dixies turn to find the perfect home after doing a trial with the police but soon realised it wasn’t the career for her.
Dixie has been great with everyone at the kennels always happy to see us. We have taken her out and about and although she can be very vocal when seeing other dogs there is no aggression but she will need a calm and experienced owner who can work with her and help with her reactivity.
Dixie has had several mates at the kennels to interact with and once again on first meeting she is very vocal but then when you take her into the offlead with another male she soon stops and has a play/run about. There is no malice in her infact she lived with her sister, although I do think a nice male would be the best way to go.
This stunning girl will require an active home also time and patience to settle into her new home but she has a lot to offer and will thrive if given the right direction.
