Dita - North Yorkshire

Dita came to us from Serbia, where she had not got off to a good start.  Initially, when she came into foster care she was a bundle of nerves and would wet herself at the drop of a hat.  However, she soon started to settle down and lives happily with another male dog

She now loves everyone she meets and is very affectionate, but still does not like other dogs until she gets to know them.  She is not suitable for a working family.  We are confident that, in the right hands, she will learn to walk without pulling and can be socialised with other dogs.  Her current fosterer’s health prevents addressing these issues.

Her favourite things, in order of preference, are:- food, playing ball, more food, tummy rubs and more food.  She used to be a ‘counter-surfer’ and would steal food, but she no longer does this.  She does not climb on furniture.

Dita is 4 and spayed.  As she has no history with children, we will be looking for a home where any children are at least 11/12
