This lovely girl was originally found as a stray did her 7 days with no one coming forward to collet her.
She is microchipped but no idea if vaccinated or spayed. She will be under a spay contract as we need to see if she comes into season.
Dakota's microchip was unregistered so we do not have an exact age but feel that she is around 2 years .
Dakota has been in a home for the last couple of months now but sadly cannot stay where she is.
The family have a very busy lifestyle and whilst Dakota is great at home and with the children she does react when out of the home which means that she has to be left at home rather than going to the football or on the school run.
The volunteer has said she is an all round lovely dog. She greeted her very nicely and was great in the home.
When they took her out they didn't meet anyone but the volunteer set up a "pretend" dog to see how Dakota would react. She feels that she is a forward thinking dog and is lead reactive. We know that she ran with all the dogs when in kennels without issue so work needs to be done on her impulse control around other dogs when on a lead. She is quite strong and currently walked on a halti.
We really don't want this young lady back in kennels. We would like to rehome from her current environment.
If you are looking for a lovely girl who just needs some work outside of the home around the lead and other dogs this lovely girl is for you
