CHASE - KENT

Meet the lovely Chase sadly looking for yet another home. The ppresent owners responded to an advert in Pets for homes, and Chase was almost dumped on them.

The volunteer was greeted with barking and jumping up but felt that Chase was just being an inquisitve youngster who has been given little training. He was also greeted by a couple of other dogs who have been in the home less than a week, but no issues were seen with any of them.

Chase was let into the living area with the whole famiy, young children and adults. He loves the sofa!!!! and also loves attention but he is not too demanding, most of the time he watched from his position on the floor where he seemed quite relaxed and happy.

Whilst on a walk Chase was at the end of his lead,  into everyones driveways checking everything out. He saw a dog about 20 yards away and in his excitement he was on 2 legs squeaking. The voluteer felt this was just excited playful enthusiasm, but could have looked intimidating to the other dog owner who disappeared. He was quite happy to be given fuss from a teenager a little further on, all calm and stress free.

Chase is an impressive dog who showed no evidence of problems with children, the other dogs that he has been living with or the volunteer in the time that he was there. He will need some work on his socialisation outside of the home and some work on his boundaries and training but an all round sweet boy. Alsi needs a change of diet which will also help his behaviours, but the volunteer felt he was almost a disney dog !!
