CHANCE AND LUNA - SURREY

Chance is a FSD Cross and Luna is his daughter. They are looking for a new home, hopefully together as their owner no longer has time for them

They live in horrendous conditions and have some desperate medical needs. Chance we belive has dermototic mange which at present has been untreated. The owner has not taken him to the vets as cannot afford to. He alsio has deformed feet as in his claws stick out at odd angles. We believe that this is an hereditory deformity as his daughter also has the problem but hers is more severe. This does not seem to affect their ability to walk.

They live with a lot of children with no issues. The volunteer sdaid that they were very friendly and pleased to see her on entry to the property. All the doors were open and he was in and out keeping an eye on the children who were playing in the front garden.  They took their treats gently.

Luna is a little shy and kept her distance, but very sweet natured,

Out walking it was very busy with lots of children playing cars bikes and neiother Chance or Luna were phased by anything. They came across cats but there was no reaction to these. Sadly no dogs were met whilst out but we have been informed that Chance is very good with other dogs whereas Luna is a little more nervous and picky. Both  are said to have good recall off lead and both know basic commands.

Chance has been neutered but Luna has not been spayed and her last season was in July.

These dogs really do need a chance at life, it is so sad when we see dogs that are not being cared for and given the basics needed. They may not be full shepherds but they are lovely dogs that with some TLC will make extremely loyal companions.

Please don't overlook them
