Caesar - West Yorks

This gorgeous looking boy is Caesar and looking for a home due to relationship breakdown, although a very much loved member of the family, they are both thinking about enriching Caesar life because at the moment he’s just with his mum and sadly she is unable to give him the exercise that he craves.

Caesar is a very big dog and certainly looks very impressive. When our volunteer arrived Caesar was in the back garden as he spends his day outside with a Wendy house for shelter. On approaching Caesar barked to let Jeff know this was his patch, and Jeff quickly was greeted with a very friendly boy and very happy to see visitors.

Caesar is obsessed with a huge stick he has and will carry this round the garden, you just have to be careful he doesn’t knock you as he gets rather excited when anyone comes to see him and forgets the stick becomes an extension to his mouth. This maybe a comfort for him whilst alone in the garden, so once he has a good routine and getting out everyday then I’m sure the stick will no longer be required.

When our volunteer took him for a walk he was expecting to be dragged all over, but this was not the case and to say he hadn’t been out for several weeks he was very well behaved. We are told by the owner he is very good with dogs, not sure about little ones but he does back off when they get bossy with him.

A stunning dog, that needs someone who is going to give him time to settle in to his new home/family and then be confident in showing him the big wide world and everything out there for Caesar to enjoy.
