Bruce - Hampshire
German shepherd dog rescue received a call on Monday afternoon from a very kind vet who had Bruce in the surgery and could we help. So Tuesday morning one of our volunteers did a 5 hour round trip to collect Bruce who had been left at the vet to be put to sleep. His crime was being left in the garden for 4 days, on return of the owner the pet rabbit was dead!!!!

Bruce is now safe in GSDR care and looking for a wonderful home. He is very gentile and loving, but gets a little scared and cowers if you raise your voice. He was a true model on his trip to his foster home and slept in the car all the way home. He is just a baby still and we are looking for a good caring home where he can get the love and attention he deserves. We do not know if he has been around children so we would only consider a home with older children who know how to behave around GSD's. As he was accused of killing a rabbit we have to be careful as he may have a high prey drive so a home without cats or small furries would be best.
