Brook is a lovely little girl who has just turned 3. She is up for adoption due to a family break up. This is what our volunteer had to say about Brook when she went to meet/assess her.
This is one of the best behaved and chilled dogs I have ever seen. She was very excited to play ball with me, doing some basic commands and allowing me to stroke and touch her all over. In the house she happily went to her crate while we were talking. She lives in the house downstairs.
The owner has said she has a good recall, this has not been assessed. On our walk she was very relaxed happy to trot along. She did see some birds and squirrels, took interest in these stopped to look, but was happy to walk past.
She currently lives with another dog, and an 18 month old child. She has lived with 2 cats before.
Her owner has said Brook can lunge at other dogs when on lead, off lead this is not an issue. This has not been assessed as on our walk we didn't see any other dogs.
This is a fab dog who is very easy going. She will be a great addition to any family.
