Brego's story began when he was dumped with a devastating injury by the roadside in Morocco. A rescue team from Morocco Animal Aid were driving to collect another dog after being alerted by a British holidaymaker. Thankfully en route they happened to pass Brego lying in a terrible state - the team couldnt ignore him and they duly rescued him.
The holidaymaker was informed and they stepped in to pay for not only the original dog she’d reached out to the rescuers about but also for Brego (who she named) to have the necessary amputation of his right leg and for both dogs to fly to England where Dogs 4 Rescue took them in.
He is around 5 years old. Neutered. Good with cats although could possibly chase whilst out. Not tested around children yet. His amputation has not diminished his mobility nor his zest for life, he runs around like he still has all four limbs!
