Boots Unwanted GSD

Boots - In Kennels Since August 2011

This poor dog like so many other German Shepherds was unfortunate enough to end up in 'security' but was discarded when he was no longer wanted and he had served his purpose.
Boots has been an absolute gent since he has been in the rescue but this poor lad has been in kennels since August 2010.

Boots was offloaded onto rescue because the previous owner couldn't be bothered with him any longer, claiming he had no time to walk or exercise Boots. Obviously, Boots had served a purpose but he was now surplus to requirement

REHOMED

This is the very handsome Boots

I'm ready to play.

This stunning dog is 8 years old, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped but still entire. We don't want to get him neutered whilst in kennels, because of the risk of infection. Has lived with children and other dogs and has never shown aggression to dogs when out, unknown with cats.

When he arrived with us, we were told that Boots was 5 which was a lie. His microchip reveals that he is 8 years old but no doubt the previous owner thought that would go against him if he told the truth!

Boots is an absolute gent

Boots is very obedient and a lovely boy

He was previously kept outside in a kennel and run as he was previously used as a security dog but kept indoors during bad weather and is therefore housetrained.

We are over here!!

Boots loves to get out and play with his ball and have a good sniff!!

A well-adjusted dog who knew when it was work or playtime; also very playful dog who loves his football! He has good recall and can pull on the lead due to excitement.

C'mon throw it for me

Boots has been an absolute gent since he has been in the rescue, but this poor lad has been in kennels since August 2010. He deserves to have a home of his own now.

An ideal home for Boots will be one with no children or older/experienced ones; a family who will stimulate him with further socialising and fantastic walks.
