Bluebell - Bedfordshire

Bluebell is a classically beautiful young girl with nothing but potential that has not been realized. She is untrained and unsocialized and has not had the learning experiences that she deserved as a younger pup. But she is hardly more than a pup still and there is time and hope for her yet. Her owner has been unable to fulfil her needs due to her own ill health. She knows that Bluebell deserves a home where she can develop into the dog that she deserves to become.

Our assessor was impressed with Bluebell, describing her as both engaging and playful. At first she would not drop her toys for him but when he put his fingers into her mouth, she responded immediately. He also embarked upon some basic training with her and found her intelligent, responsive and keen to learn.

Naturally Bluebell's lack of experience means that she is at yet unsocialized. She is wary of other dogs and is reactive to small ones. She is also frightened of small children - well, anything really. Outside she is nervous and needs the reassurance of a confident owner and possibly the presence of an older dog. Her owner says that she does improve when she has experienced company and leadership.

In the right hands Bluebell will flower!
