Blue - north York’s

This is Blue, a beautiful 15-month old dark sable who is being rehomed because of his owner’s illness.   He has been in fostercare with GSDR for a month, during which time he has settled remarkably quickly and is much calmer than when he arrived, though he can still be an excitable pup particularly when someone comes to the house. He is living happily with our volunteer’s older male GSD and travels well in a car.

On arrival, he knew virtually no rules or boundaries, but he has since learned a range of commands which he ‘usually’ obeys.  He bonds strongly and will follow you everywhere.

He would be best suited to an active owner as he has energy to burn.  He is fine with children of all ages, but very young children might be best avoided as Blue can be a bit exuberant and he will knock them over.  He has never shown any aggression.  He is good with other dogs – cats are unknown.

He still has some learning to do, but is an intelligent dog who wants to please.
