Blue Bear

Meet the gorgeous gent blue bear whose a short coated boy of just 7yrs young

Blue is very sadly being rehomed due to his owner being unable to walk him

Our volunteer saw Blue barking at him from the window when he arrived, blue was very boisterous but once calmed down and had a fuss he lay at his owned feet, he did from time to time get up to give our volunteer a sloppy kiss

Blue was excited to go out when he saw his lead, listened to commands and was quick to heel but will pull initially when out

Unfortunately our volunteer didn’t meet any other dogs, we are told by his owner that he reacts to other dogs when out which is understandable as he was bitten and attacked when a baby so he is fearful of other dogs

Blue does work with a trainer and is continuing to make good progress

Blue is a nervous visitor to the vets

He is fed a salmon / fish based diet as he can experience itchy ears on occasions

Blue loves going in the car

He can be left for 5 hrs

Our volunteer suggests a home that is competent around large dogs and experienced within the breed

A home where Blue is the only pet

He could share his space with children over 12 due to not having much experience surrounding children

A rural location would be the best type of home where blue can be relaxed and not be fearful of seeing other dogs, he does enjoy going to the secure field a few times a week

We would love to find this lad a home of his own
