Meet Blade who has sadly lost his owner and is currently in kennels waiting to find his retirement home.
Blade was originally many years ago trained as a security dog. He was retired at a very young age and he went to live with a gentleman about 4 years ago who has recently passed away.
Blade will guard his family and his home which is typical of the breed..
He is an unknown around cats but the kennels think with proper and slow introduction he could be fine.
Blader has not lived with children so we would be looking for young adults not young children.
Blade can be particular about his canine friends. He is fine with the majority of bitches but can be a bit temperamental around males. At kennels he has mixed with a gsd and a couple of labradors but he rather likes humping other dogs.
He is fabulous on a lead !
Ca you get this boy out of kennels and offer him the retirement home he deserves? He is looking for a calm confident family. He wouldn't suit a first time GSD owner.
