This gorgeous girlie is Bexa a 2 year old Black and tan shepherd who has not been spayed.
When the volunteer assessed Bexa she said what a lovely young lady she was. She has lived with children and we were told that she was fine with Dogs but could react when is season. Since being in oour care she has shown that she is totally unsocialsied around other dogs so that will definitely need some work
Bexa is basically a puppy in a 2 year old body. She has been taught basic commands but does get very excited and likes to jump up to say hello. The voluteer said that there was no aggrssion just Bexa being mischevious.
She loves to play and is very good with the children but a typical youngster she is very bouncy. She also loves food and has been known to counter surf when a nice smell hits her nostrils.......
The volunteer did say that she barked at every dog she saw in the car, so the suspision is there that she really hasn't been walked much and hasn't been socialised very well. She has certainly never been off lead so she has no recall.
Bexa needs a calm home that can take her back to basics, who will give her time to settle and build trust not overload her from day 1. She doesn't need feeling sorry for she needs boundaries, direction, stimulation and socialisation
