BESS - OXFORDSHIRE

Well what can I say..... this little lady is a mere 8 months old and looking for her 4th and final home.

Her current owners have had her about 6 weeks but realise that taking on such a young dog in their advancing years was not a sensible move. They don't want her passed around anymore so came to us for help.

Bess is a delightful pup who is bored. She is in desperate need of mental and physical stimulation. She needs good boundaries and some much needed training.

She pulls like a steam train on the lead... (flat collar and chain lead) She couldn't drag the volunteer but has had the current owner over a couple of times in her desire to get to whatever she sees. Although cheeky she responded well to the volunteer.

She is fine with the grandchildren and although jumps at them initially, she then will follow them round,so we feel if the children are dog savvy and understand the boundaries that are needed she could live with children 

She will steal food off the side because she can, she escapes from the garden because she can. These are all things that can be worked with at such a young age.

She needs an experienced home who has the patience to see her through this stage of her life, reset the boundaries and give her the exercise she so desperately needs. The volunteer thought she was delightful an affectionate girl with oodles of potential
