Bear - Vale Of Glamorgan

This beautiful 6-year-old neutered boy is Bear who absolutely stole our volunteer's heart when she went to assess him because he has such an amazing temperament and fantastic character.

He is a happy lively boy who is in wonderful condition and is unusual because he is mainly tan in colour. His coat was perfect as were bhis ears and teeth, so a very well cared for boy.

Bear just loves to play with balls and toys and brings them to you to play tug with him, he has no malice or agression in him whatsoever.

When our volunteer offered him treats, he sat there, gave a paw and gently took the treat without snatching or jumping up.

He likes being brushed, having his tummy and ears tickled, doens't mind his feet being touched and he likes his trips to the doggy groomers. They have tried to clean his teeth but he wants to eat the brush and play. He is not keen on fireworks but what dog is?

He is fine with people of all ages and also children even down to tiny babies.

In the past he has lived with another dog and outside he is fine with dogs. His owner doesn't think he likes cats but they are not sure if he has ever lived with one of what he would be like with one in a home.

Bear is not used to being on the lead and pulls but off lead he is great. and will walk nicely by your side.

Bear is not really being walked so when he does get to get he gets very excited. He has lots of pent up energy that needs burning off. He enjoys running on the beach and just loves water!!!

Bear would be best with a family who love the outdoors who can include Bear in all they do / experience as he so deserves it.

Whoever adopts Bear will have a happy, active, energetic, lively, interactive dog who will be keen to join in with everything they do - better than winning the lottery!
