BALCO - BERKSHIRE

This young boy is sadly a victim of circumstance. His owners love him dearly but are no longer in a position to keep him.

Balco is working lines, entire microchipped and vaccinated, also basic commands and house trained. He also lives with an older dog.

Being working lines he is a BUSY boy and needs mental stimulation to try and tire him out. On arrtival the volunteer was greeted with barking. One the door was opened he shot out the door and off down the road. He likes to jump up to say hello but all excitement and he does settle.

He has been trained and has a lot of good quakities. He has excellent recall for the male owner but the female doesn't feel as confident so when walked by her it is on lead. He has 4 walks a day but it is felt he needs more. He would suit a young couple who are busy, maybe want to do agility or run or hike. He loves to be out and about.

Getting ready to go out for a walk was interesting. He is very vocal whilst having the lead put on, and very excited. He pulls the owner down the road until they get to a certain tree, it is almost like he wants to make sure he is going out for a walk. No dogs were met when out but he is said to get on with most dogs, unless they start on him. He is said to be interested in cats but not chase.

He passed a couple a whilst running towards them as soon as called back he responded and ignored. He LOVES water of any kind, you get in the bath he will join you given half the chance. His vice is to investigate the washing pile for SOCKS..... beware

For the RIGHT home this boy woudl be perfect. He does need work, he also needs someone who understands the breed, Not a novice boy. In the right home he will excel amd become the perfect partner
