This gorgeous young lady is sadly looking for her new forever home due to a marital split.
On arrival she barked at the volunteer, a very timid little lady who took a while to settle but then took treats very nicely. Bailey is a lovely girl in the home, a little wary of strangers but not aggressive. She is not a very confident dog but very sweet.
When the volunteer put her coat back on to go for a walk, she became a stranger to bark at. She is not good on a lead, she is walked on a harness. Oce out she was very excited, pulls like a train and likes to bark at dogs and people..... more through fear than aggression. The owner admits that they have not put in enough training in the outdoors, so work will need to be done.
She does live with 2 cats one is scared of her and keeps its distance the other puts her in her place.
Bailey does go to doggy daycare 4 days a week and is absolutely fine and they use a secure field for her to run free. As with most shepherds she is lead reactive but said to be better when off lead.
In short Bailey is a sweet timid dog with solme nervous issues that in a calm confident home we are sure will disappear. She does need work in the outdoors but that work will certainly pay off.
Can you offer this young lady her forever home ??
