** Desperate for Foster/Home **
Aslan, is 5 year old and a gorgeous chunky boy.
Sadly he is looking for a new home due to recently losing his mum and his dad needs to get back to work as at present he is looking after Aslan.
Our volunteer went to meet him and took him out for a walk this is what he had to say.
Aslan is a big dog, approx 50 kg. He’s very loving and no problem being stroked, happily took treats from me. Owner has done quite a lot of training with him as when they got him 2 years ago he did suffer from SA. He is much better now and does settle.
Aslan walks well on the lead and doesn’t really pull, he tends to walk at the end of the lead but no pulling. He tends to ignore other dogs and has low level of interest in them especially small to medium dogs. He has more interest in large dogs and can react to them if they are reactive to him first.
Aslan is very intelligent and listens well to his owner/handler. He’s a lovely dog who maybe unsure at first in a new home but should grow to be a loyal and loving family member.
