German Shepherd Dogs in the north east looking for homes
Please do not overlook taking on an older German Shepherd dog looking for a home. They have the same right to a nice home as younger dogs.

Thai

Thai is just 2 and is in desperate need of a new home. He is basically a typical GSD who has not been socialised or taught any manners, but with the right owner he will learn as he is an intelligent dog. Microchipped, neutered and vaccinated (booster due). Currently in the Darlington area, he needs a firm, experienced owner.
Delta

Delta is a beautiful 2-3 year old, long-coated bitch who came to us from the pound where her time was up! Since going into fostercare, she has settled in very quickly and is living happily with an older GSD male and is great with the family's young son. She is responsive, is already walking to heel and has a good recall. She is housetrained and has been checked by the vet. However she weighed just 24 kilos when we got her! Her fosterers, in West Yorkshire, describe her as 'a wonderful dog' - someone is going become a lucky new owner.
Heidi

Meet Heidi. She is a 7 yr old spayed bitch, sable in colour. I am told she is up to date with vaccinations and micro chipped. Heidi has been moved about in her life, living with a family then due to parting went to live with one half of the relationship, where we are told she was left a lot on her own. She came back to the daughter, who is now having to work full time and can't cope with work, 3-year old son and Heidi. When I arrived Heidi was fine we went for a walk so she could get used to me. Heidi has lived with another bitch early in her life, but when reintroduced they didn't get on, the reason she went to live with Daughter. I feel Heidi will make a very good pet in the right hands with someone with experience of this beautiful breed. She took treats from me and we played ball in the garden. Whilst out on the walk she seemed fine when we passed people, children and people on bikes. Her owner says she isn't keen on bikes, but she didn't appear to be bothered whilst we were out. Heidi has since been taken into kennels in the York area.
