Zeuss - Lincolnshire

Update November 2018 - Zeuss has found a new home.

Zeuss is a good all round dog. He greeted out assessor with friendliness and openness and asked prettily for tummy rubs.

He has lived in a pub and was a firm favourite with all customers, as well as a being a guard dog when necessary.

Sadly Zeuss' life has changed, due to a marital break down. He no longer lives the sociable life that he did once. Nowdays, he has to be left for long periods whilst his owner works. And he needs to be rehomed now, as his owner cannot find rental accommodation that will accept him. Zeuss is an adaptable boy. He manages with his new lifestyle so would suit a working owner who needs a laid back dog, who can be left.

Zeuss can be managed on lead but he needs further training. When walked by our assessor, Zeuss did ignore a barking dog. His owner says that he can take exception to some dogs but is very manageable. With others, particularly small dogs, he is fine. Equally he is said to be good with children, but to be safe, we would only want him to be homed with older children. Investment in this boy will result in a really lovely dog. He has a very equable nature, although he can be the guard when needed. He would suit a busy home because he can fit in and is content to be left when necessary, making the huge adjustment of a transition from a sociable life in the pub to a much more solitary one nowadays.

Can this boy enjoy being the centre of someone's attention again? He deserves to be treated as a special boy, because that is what he undoubtedly is.
