Zeus - Merthyr Tydfil

This pretty young dog is Zeus who is just 19mths old and still entire.

He is being rehomed because he has reached the naughty teenager stage and trying to be top dog in the home.

When our volunteer arrived he wasn't too happy and was vocal for a while but then kept coming back for a stroke.

He was very eager to go for a walk but he pulls on the lead which will need working on. A dogmatic head collar would help. He lives with two other dogs, a GSD and a French Bulldog, he also lives with a cat.

He is very guarding towards the lady of the house and the teenage daughter but he is not so keen on the 8-year-old and has growled at her.

Zeus needs to be with either an adult only home or one with teenagers and not young children.

He is very playful with the other shepherd that he lives with and he ignores the cat.

Zeus is underweight but nothing too serious and is probably just down to his age.

He is a bit possessive over food but not with toys.

Zeus is just going through that difficult age and needs a firm owner who will guide him through that and he will turn into the perfect pet.
