XANTHE - SUSSEX

This lovely lady is looking for a new home through no fault of her own

The volunteer was met very exuberantly by Xanthe and the younger dog that she lives with. They both jumped all over her in their excitement and at no time listened to their owner !! Xanthe is left for too long now her owner has gone back to work full time and she feels that it is not fair. Xanthe doesn't really like being left on her own and when she gets bored she will chew ....

Xanthe lives with lots of children and seems to be absolutely fine with them.

She has had a couple of handbags at dawn with the younger dog but generally when he wants to play and she doesn't. The owner says that she is reactive to other dogs out of the home. This has not really been tested as it was very quiet when the volunteer walked him. They met a couple of dogs but from a distance she didn't really react.

She walks on a headcollar but is quite controllable. The volunteer has seen a lot worse. Xanthe is said to chase squirrels and small furries.

A friendly young lady who is in need of some stimulation and boundaries. Certainly some work needed out of the home and would be better if someone is around the majority of the time as she loves her human company.
