Max - West Yorks

This stunner is Max. He is being rehomed through no fault of his own and simply because his current owners feel that they cannot off enough time to sufficiently exercise him. As he is not being walked, Max has very high energy levels at present and is nibbling his tail, most likely through boredom. He is suffering with some loss of fur to the end of his tail due to this but his fur should quickly grow back once he stops nibbling.
Max's owners have said that on the few occasions that he has been out on a walk, Max is extremely strong on the lead, but again, this should stop once he is getting the right amount of exercise and correct handling.
Our assessor took Max for a walk and found he did not pull much, though was a little wary of leaving his owners, so was probably a little confused. He met several dogs, both male and female and greeted them nicely.
Max currently lives outside in a large kennel and run but his owner says that he always toilets in the same location and so we believe this would suggest that Max will adapt quickly to house training.
This lovely boy needs an active, social, indoor home with confident handling where he can thrive. He has a lot of love to give for the right person. Is that you?"
