Timber - Teesside

TIMBER AND PIPPA ARE TO BE REHOMED AS A PAIR.

UPDATE SEPT 2019 from their foster home:

Update on Timber and Pippa, our fostered furbabies, now ready to find their forever home.

Timber came to us as a huge 48kg teddy bear, loves to be loved and so laid back. He has been neutered while in foster and all vaccinations now up to date. He charms everyone he meets, when he gives you his huge paw you know it! He has now lost a few kilo with regular visits to the beach and walks which he loves. He is strong on a short lead but soon settles, he does prefer a good extendable lead.

Pippa came to us as a very timid girl, hid behind Timber and wary of strangers. She has since found her confidence with living with us in a busy household, we have visitors daily of all ages, once she has had a sniff she will come back and settle for a fuss.

Timber & Pippa are living with our 2 pooches, and have regular visits from other family dogs. There has never been any issues at all with them meeting small, large, male or female dogs, we have a menagerie in our mad house!

They are both excellent with children, from our 7 month old grandson who they are both so gentle with, to our 13 year old teenager who Pippa is quite attached to.

Orignal post:

Unfortunately Timber needs to be re-homed due to his owner dying suddenly.

If you want a very large, handsome and extremely friendly dog then Timber who is 7 years of age is the dog for you. He just wants to be your friend and loves to be stroked.

Timber lives with 2 other dogs and also gets on very well with other dogs within the immediate family. We do not know how he gets on with dogs outside of the property.

When he was eating his dinner he let our volunteer stroke him and did not show any sign of aggression.

Whoever adopts this gorgeous dog is going to be one very lucky person. I am sure he will be snapped up very quickly so if I was you I would get in first.

We are desperate to keep Pippa & Timber together. Pippa is shy and really needs her companion to be able to move forward.
