Tess - Newport Gwent

Tess - Newport Gwent

Tess is approx 9 years old, she has not had a good life to date, so consequently, she is nervous and has become very introverted and depressed in kennels where she has been for over a year.

Fate has not dealt our lovely Tess a fair hand in life so far. She was rescued from another rescue, then rehomed twice but is so sadly now in kennels again. You guessed it... Tess is not a girl without issues. In the right home, she will be fine, but she has dominance issues and has always tried to exert her power, sadly with some success, leading to unhappy consequences for her.

Tess needs a home where she is the only dog, only though she can be good with other dogs, it has to be on her terms. She finds it hard to share in her own home and does like her own space. Tess is very affectionate and will bond well with her owners (especially men) but needs firm leadership as given the chance she will become dominant and over protective.

Tess has so much to give to the right owner. Are you up to giving this mature lady her forever home and give her the chance to become the wonderful and devoted companion she would love to be?

Tess walks quite slowly as she has a bit of arthritis.

It would be sad to think that this poor girl will end her life in kennels as a result of her age and because she would prefer to be an only dog.
