Susie In Cambridgeshire

Update: August 2020 - Shy Susie has been adopted

We are looking for a special home for this poor pup urgently. She had to be lifted as an emergency, as she and another bitch were fighting to the death. So, she is now in kennels. Initially she was traumatised by her move, but she is now slowly responding to kennel staff. So we are looking for a peaceful experienced home for her, preferably without other animals or young children. She could be rehomed initially as a foster dog with a view to adoption or simply as a foster.

Susie is a full GSD with papers. She is in kennels in Cambridgeshire, being further assessed. She is not well socialised with other dogs, as yet, and she does not like cats. She is nervous and badly traumatised but was very friendly and affectionate towards her family. She has shown no aggression whatsoever, despite feeling very threatened by kennels. She is probably safe with children, but we feel she is too nervous to be able to withstand the activity within a household with children at this stage. She is a pup who will need a very experienced foster carer initially as she is highly stressed.

She has a lot to learn but a lot of potential.
