Spark - Co Durham

Spark is an entire 18 month old GSD/Dutch Herder who will need to find a new forever home with folk who appreciate the needs of this energetic girl. Spark is quite anxious when visitors arrive at the property, our volunteer was greeted with a few barks and simply ignored Spark who subsequently went into the corner of the room, after a while Spark came back to investigate the visitor and was happy to be fussed and stroked. With regards other animals, Spark lives happily with a male poodle but she is reactive when out and can nip other dogs. At the moment she goes to doggy day care where she is fine around the owners large dogs but when a newcomer entered the pack she gave him sharp shrift to tell him who was the boss. Spark although good travelling in the car, if she sees other animals she will bark . If you have the experience of the Dutcher Herder breed, are aware of their energy levels and breed traits and feel you can help Spark find a new forever home, please contact your co ordinator,
