Update June 2019: Super Socks has bene rehomed

Poor Socks had the most dreadful start in life. He was rescued with his sister from the campo in Spain a year ago. He then spent time in in a shelter where he was so traumatised and protective of his sister that it was thought that he might become unmanageable. Happily a foster home was found for him but, sadly, the other household dogs did not accept him and so it was decided to rehome him to the UK. It took some time for him to become stable enough to travel but he came eventually, just before Christmas last year. He was a poor timid traumatized boy then.

Since this time Socks' story has been one of glorious discovery. He lives with other dogs and cats and has formed loving relationships with the dogs, not so much with the cars unfortunately. He has been taken on walks. Open spaces freaked him at first but he has learned the joy of free running and play with his friends. He has been to training classes and discovered that if he does tricks he gets rewards. He is learning all about life in the UK.

If you are interested in continuing Sock's magical mystery tour of the delights of life, then you will have the chance to have an in depth discussion with his foster carers about him and meet him in his home environment. You must be a dog owner already as Socks has never been without canine company.

Socks is a uniquely charming and loving boy. Who could resist him?
