Santa - Doncaster

SWEET SANTA has been rehomed

This sweet boy has only recently come from the hell of a Romanian kill shelter. How he managed to survive psychologically is a mystery. He must have lived in terror, as he is very sensitive and remains shaken by his experiences. He has both the physical and psychological scars to show for this. All the same he is slowly coming out of his shell. He is in kennels, where he is understood and they cater for all his needs. But this boy, especially, needs a forever home where he can truly relax. This will undoubtedly be for the first time in his life!

You would imagine that such brutalizing experiences would make any dog vicious and distrustful of humans. Not so. Santa is slowly beginning to trust again and he now welcomes kisses and cuddles. He is still rather nervous of open spaces and prefers to exercise in a smaller enclosed space than a large field and he is always happy to go back to the sanctuary of his kennel. He would be in heaven with a warm fire and his own soft bed.

Santa has shown no aggression towards anyone - human or canine. He is a sweet boy, without issues other than his own timidity. This will be overcome in time in the right home and with an understanding and loving owner.

Even if his personality develops, as it will, he will always be a sweet Santa.
