Sacha in Lincolnshire

Update: January 2020 - Sweet Sacha has been rehomed

Poor Sacha has not had much luck in her life. She was rehomed from her first home where she lived with uproarious children. She was throughly frightened of them and became stressed. As a result, she still has trust issues and can be timid with humans now.

She was then rehomed to a child free home with another dog. Sadly this did not work. Sasha was full on and playful with her new companion but the resident dog, who was much smaller, became frightened of her. The adoption failed and now this poor baby is in kennels through no fault of her own. We are confident that the adoption could have worked perfectly well, if it had been handled with some patience.

We still believe that Sasha would be suited to a home with both dogs and cats. She has lived with a cat in the past. Since her time in kennels she has become rather more uncertain towards strange dogs outside. We would not rehome her with children.

Despite rejecting Sacha, her last adopters did say that apart from the issue with their dog that she is a 'brilliant dog'. She lacks some social graces. She can be wary of strangers and can react to them and to other dogs. She has not had either the training or socialization that she should.

Are you willing to invest time in this super pup? She is easy and willing to train if you can cope with joyful energy and playfulness.
