SABRE - ESSEX

This gorgeous yooung man is sadly in kennels as he was returned by his adopter who said he was aggressive !!

Sabre is a young man who originally lived n a home but his owner suffered a brain injury and his parents took the dog in. When we were asked to help rehome him he was living in an outside kennel enclosure with extended family. He was sadly lacking in manners but not a sign of aggression just a pushy young man who wanted to get his own way.  He is very puppy like in his mannerisms and could be mistakedn for much younger than his 4 years.

Sabre is vvery treat and ball focussed so he will be easy to train. He is a clever boy and we feel that he will learn very quickly in the right hands how to behave. With the right owner he will blossom into a magnificent young man.

He has recently been assesed by a trainer who has said that he really isn't aggressive he just doesn't understand how to say hello to other dogs. He can get quite excited and some dogs don't like this. If a dog was to pick on him he will probably retaliate.

He loves the company of people but again due to his excitement and jumping up in greeting  we feel he would be better placed with older children. He does occasionally still mouth but it is very gentle.

For us we feel that Sabre's issues are minor and that in the right home he will learn very quickly. Please don't ovverlook this ovely boy he really doesn't deserve to spend Christmas in kennels..... he doesn't know what he has done wrong
