REGGIE - MILTON KEYNES

This gorgeous boy is Reggie 3 years old and looking for his new home.

Back in December we received a call from a gentleman who needed Reggie gone as he didn't trust him. He had bought Reggie off the internet a few months previously. There were obviously issues so he sent him away to training school. At his tender age he would have been gong through adolscence and acting up. In residential training he did really well and they said he was just a typical pup acting out and testing boundaries.

After 3 weeks he returned home and within a week he was back to being naughty !! He adored the female in the home but had an issue with the man. That said in kennels he is fine with the guys. They lived in an upstairs maisonette and their garden was at the back, so they would come down the stairs put a lead on Reggie and walk him round the corner to the garden. That for 4 months was Reggies total sum of exercise 3 times a day.

Reggie is a typical GSD he is wary of strangers, needs time and patience from a strong minded adopter to settle. He certainly has trust issues and when introduced to new situations reacts badly. He will latch on very quickly to one person. He needs to be taken back to basics and learn how to be a dog. Consistency boundaries and training will have to come before love and affection. Once all is in place we believe that he will be an extremely loyal companion.

With Reggies history we would prefer that he lived in a home with NO children. Every dog reacts differently to situations so until we find this stunning boy a knowledgeable home we are unsure what if any his real issues are. Whatever they are he certainly has some learnt behaviours that will need working on.

Reggie has been in kennels nearly 2 years now and really deserves to be given a chance
