OLLIE - ESSEX

This gorgeous young man has had a terrible start in life. Born in the US he was used as a baity dog.

His owners saved him from a life of hell andwhen they moved to the UK for work they bought Ollie with them. They had to return to the States but decided not to take Ollie with them so he went into a foster home. These people were moving away so Ollie was moved again to the home where he is now.

The volunteer found Ollie to be the perfect gentleman. He can be a little protective of the front door and likes to bark at the postman. Ollie loves a cuddle and human contact. He also loves a ball and seems lost if he doesn't have one close. It has also been noted that he will resource guard items,  if he has something the best thing is to distract him and whilst in another room take whatever he was guarding. This could be a stress thing whilst settling in and gaining trust.

Ollie walks very nicely on a lead carrying his favourite ball. When on lead he will bark at other dogs but when off lead he is generally very good with dogs that come over to say hello.

Ollie doesn't like motorbikes either.

Whilst OIllie seems like the perfect dog he will not be without issues. He needs a confident experienced home due to his chequered past.

If you can offer this lovely boy his forever retirement home please do get in touch.
