Nala in Cambridgeshire

Update MAy 2019: Sweet Nala has been adopted

Nala is being rehomed through no fault of her own. Her owner has experienced a catastrophic health crisis and he cannot care for Nala properly any longer. He believes that she deserves better than they can offer at this time.

Nala currently lives with other small dogs and is clearly the pack leader. Her owner describes her as their 'mum'. She is the boss but in a very caring way and will even share her food with the others. We have no information about how Nala reacts to dogs outside the home as she has not been walked by her owner's partner. She is more used to smaller dogs and so has not felt able to exercise her. Our assessor found Nala very handleable, considering that she has not been recently walked. She did pull a little but was very calm with anything they encountered. Sadly this did not include other dogs so we cannot vouch that she is dog friendly outside the house. She is said to have good off lead recall as well.

All in all, Nala is a lovely girl who will be very straightforward to rehome to anyone without other dogs or who has a submissive pack. Nala might not like to be subservient, but she is so sweet that even this might not apply.

Do your dogs need a doggy 'mum' and do you want a sweet natured trained girl?
