Michelle was found by a lady in January 2021 in the mountains of Cyprus where she had been abandoned in a terrible state. Skinny, flea ridden, sores on her body, nails horrendously long and sadly when taken into rescue she tested positive for Leishmania.
Dog Valley Rescue Center took her in and immediately arranged medical treatment for her. They have since found out her history and it transpires she had sadly spent her whole life tied up in a yard. She is very loving with the staff at the rescue but gets distressed around the other dogs as had never before had interaction with other animals so would be better as an only dog.
