Luna is a typical 15 month old GSD, full of beans and eager to learn! She is high energy so would benefit from an active home and she loves nothing more than to chase a tennis ball or stick. She is very quick to pick things up so would benefit from some stimulating brain training games or sniff and search classes to drain some of that boundless energy as she loves having something to do!
She is very sweet natured and has been friendly and playful with other dogs and very loving and friendly to people passing and visitors to the home.
I would say not suitable for homing with young children as she is so high energy and can go from 0 – 100 in a heartbeat. She does some mouthing which is typical for her age but once given something to chew she is happy enough!
She knows basic commands like sit, stay and will wait patiently for you to tell her to take food. I have taught her the touch and step commands very quickly and loose lead walking training is ongoing. She is a dream to teach as she is very food motivated but needs to be trained a calm manner to avoid escalating her energy further!
She loves swimming and after a trip to the canine hydro pool didn’t want to stop swimming, she’s a natural!
She is an absolute joy and is full of joie de vivre!
