Lucy is a beautiful 22-month-old girl who desperately needs to find a new home where they can work on her anxiety.
Sadly Lucy has just moved home and is subject to a partnership breakdown which has really unsettled her, so much so Lucy no longer wants to leave the house.
Our volunteer was greeted by puppy type behaviour of jumping excitedly around and not wanting to initially come over to say hello, however once settled Lucy was fine having a fuss but it was clear that any sudden movements made Lucy anxious and run away.
Lucy is good around children and has lived with another dog. Our volunteer witnessed Lucy's anxiety about going outside, it was immediately apparent when she saw the lead but after a few minutes they managed to get her outside for a quick walk but it was very clear Lucy was not happy and didn't enjoy the experience.
Therefore Lucy will need a patient new owner who can take baby steps getting Lucy to enjoy her walks and realise that the outside world isn't a scarey place.
