Leifie is the dutch word for "Darling" and that is exactly what she is
This gorgeous girlie is sadly looking for a new home as her owners feel that soince moving back from abroad she is not getting the life that she deserves. She had 3 acres to raom abroad but here only has a small garden. She is walked daily but they feel she deserves more.
Leifie loves children of all ages. She is a very friendly girl with all people but a littlew unknown around other dogs. She does put her hackles up but maybe a ;little wary rather than aggressive as she did spend some time with the daughters dog and they got on fine. Sensible and slow introductions would be the way forward.
The volunteer found a very happy girl who didn't pull excessively on the lead but did tend to do her own thing sniffing and mooching. They passed people some running but Leifie didn't react, but no other dogs were seen whilst out and about.
The owner feels that she would be better living with a youngwer couple and children who can give her more exercise thatn she curtrently gets and interact with the kids. (She is currently walked by a dog walker for an hour a day)
This is a very sad rehoming as she is an extremely well loved pet who seems to be very happy. If you think that Leifie will fit into your household please do get in touch
