Kent - West Yorks

Kent is a highly intelligent 18 month old, who has bounds of character, energy and personality but does struggle with fear around humans.

Currently in foster care, where he is being guided by a behaviourist daily on building his confidence in particular with fast moving objects, such as plastic bags blowing, shopping trolleys, bikes, prams but this training is proving positive and he no longer runs away and is beginning to accept this as part of his life.

Kent has shown he is very cautious of men, and can lunge when cornered, but again with positive re-enforcement will calm towards them. He would greatly benefit from a calm and quiet home with someone who has the patience and time to invest in continuing this work and his development.

Currently living with another dog, which again would be highly beneficial to have the companionship of an older dog to help reinforce his ways in his new home.

When out walking he is very good with other dogs where he meets and greets very well, sniffs and moves away, which is another great step forward.

Ideally a large spacious environment with a large area to give him lots of mental stimulation

To ensure Kent continues on this path he needs that really special person and he will reward you with bundles of love and tennis balls.
