BLU - KENT

We had a call from a vets in Kent asking for our help as young Blu was due to be taken in to be PTS. They had refused saying that he was a fit and healthy boy . We stepped in and spoke with the owners.

It seems that Blu is growing into a big boy and testing boundaries, he has sensed a weakness and is taking over. He has scared the 10 year old who will not come downstairs unless Blu is in his crate. He is no longer walked as he reacts on a lead and the owner has lost all her confidence.

To add insult to injury this poor boy has had a couple of seizures and is now medicated. He hasn't had a seizure sice June and they are making sure that he gets his meds daily as advised by the vet. He hasn't actually had the diagnosis of epilepsy but he has had 2 sets of seizues hence why medicated. The vets have said that it could possibly be all be stress related

This young man has been pulled out this morning into kennels. He NEEDS a home as a matter of urgency due to his epilepsy. The stress I am sure will do him no favours.

UPDATE FROM KENNELS......

Blu is a lovely friendly boy, a typical GSD pup testing his boundaries. He has been fine with the other dogs that he has met . He hasn't been medicated since he arrived and he has had NO siezures. It really could have been the stress of the house he was in that caused the original issues.

He is only a young boy who deserves a chance at a happy fulfilled life. In the right home as an only dog with confident owners who will give him the consistency and security that he deserves I am sure that he will blossom.
