HUNTER - KENT

Hunter is sadly looking for a new home as he doesn't get on with the resident dog.

Sadly for Hunter there was an altercation with the small dog in the home when the door bell rang. Hunter got over excited and the Chi got hurt. The owner feels that she cannot trust him and we need to find him a home as the dogs are now separated within the home. This will be very confusing for Hunter.

Hunter is an anxious boy who initially lunged and barked at the voluteer. They took him out for a walk and he slowly settled. Once back in the home he was watchful but did settle whilst the paperwork was filled out

Hnter is wary of strangers and will bark but back off at the sat to visitme time. When visitors arrived he used to take himself off upstairs until they had left but with restrictive access in the house now he couldn't do that when the volunnteer went to visit .

When out walking he didn't react to any dogs that they passed. Hunter is not that keen on water. Hunter will need to be the only dog in the home unless you havev experience with introducing dogs.

The male owner is a confident handler and Hunter responds well to this, he feeds off that confidence and is let off lead when ut. The female owner is a little more wary and lacking in confidence so again Hunter may well be feeding off this and becomes unsure himself.

We feel that Hunter needs a calm confident home who will build his confidence levels and let him know that he only has to worry about being a HAPPY dog. If you think you can help this beautiful boy please get in touch
