Hunter - Bristol

Hunter is a 5-year-old castrated male who is a beautiful loving boy with his owner but the owner claims that he doesn't like his new partner so he has to be rehomed as she is unwilling to live with him.

He jumps up and nips when excited and barks at the postman.

Hunter currently lives with a Doberman with whom he is fine but he is not good with strange dogs. He also lives with a kitten but chases cats outside the property.

He is also allegedly unpredictable with strangers but he was fine with our volunteer.

He travels well in the car and he loves being groomed.

Hunter pulls on the lead which could be sorted by the use of a dogmatic head collar.

He would be best rehomed as an only dog and where there are no children although with careful introduction, he could live with a female dog.

Hunter would be well suited to someone with time and patience, someone who is passionate and understands the breed who can give Hunter what he needs.

As is typical of the breed he likes to guard.

Hunter spends quite a lot of time in kennels because his owner works away quite often.

We believe that in the right hands, Hunter will make a super companion and he will not disappoint.
