MAX - HERTS

Max is a boy of 6 years old sadly looking for his forever home due to behaviours that his family feel they cannot deal with. They privately adopted him last year.

The volunteer met Max outside of the home and went for a walk, where he was on high alert the whole toime. He has not been off lead and is sadly unknown around other dogs and we would guess a no to cats.

He can be possesive of his food so any potential adopter should be aware of this. He has been fine at home but recently has shown some guarding behaviours towards the mum over the daughter and gets between them. Again this is something that will need work. Her will need clear boundaries and a calm experienced home that understands his traits.

We cannot speak for his first 5.5 years and why he was given up for adoption or what happened in that home we only know what has happened in the last 8 months since being with his present owners.

He is a lovely boy who needs a home that will let him decompress, give him space to trust but set his boundaries so he can learn how to enjoy being a dog.

If you have time and patience and are willing to work with this boy please get in touch
