Elsie - Hereford

Elsie - Hereford

This sweet little dog is our Elsie who was taken in as an emergency because her disgusting owner was going to take her to the vets to be put to sleep - she was not then a year old!

When she first came to us, she was absolutely terrified of everything and would have done anything to escape and run away.

Just a few weeks on, she learnt to trust us and has settled into a good routine although she is easily spooked. We think she may have been beaten by her previous owner.

Elsie is mixing with many other dogs of all sizes and loves to play. Her best friend now is Ruby, with whom she likes to play and they sleep together.

We don't think that Elsie would cope with noisy young children and would be best in an adult only home. She would be an ideal dog for a retired, active couple who have a secure garden.

She loves her walks and is a good girl on the lead. If people approach her, she is a little wary at first but is then curious - especially if there is a treat on offer.

Elsie is a smashing young dog who is always complimented on her looks because she is so pretty.

She was spayed after her first season, she has her own passport, she is microchipped and vaccinated.

If you think you are the right person for Elsie, please fill out an adoption form before contacting the rescue.
