Duke

Meet the gorgeous Duke who is 2 next month

Duke originally belonged to a family member but when unable to look after him he went to live with the lady who has him now.

He’s being rehomed due to being reactive to other dogs when out and strong on the lead which is too much for an elderly lady

When our volunteers arrived to see him he barked a couple of times but was instantly calm and very friendly

Duke is neutered and vaccinated

He loves to travel in the car

Duke is house trained and is used to two long walks a day

He’s walked on a figure 8 lead

Duke is less reactive when with a male than female and so we feel having a confident male adopter would be best for Duke

He doesn’t like cars, bikes or joggers so we feel a quiet rural home where he could live and be exercised would suit Duke

We are sure some of these issues could be worked on with the right adopter with experience with the breed

Duke will need to be the only pet in the home

Could live with children over 10

No cats

Duke will make somebody a wonderful companion if you live in a quiet rural area and have the commitment and experience to overcome his issues.

Duke GSD needs a new home
