Deano - West Yorks

Deano is such a friendly, very clever dog. He was handed into the local dog pound by his owner, was told that it was due to him nipping but certainly hasn’t nipped any of our volunteers, in fact far from it. Deano is Very vocal when coming out and going back into the kennels and tries to pull towards other dogs, yet when he is offsite away from the kennels he is an angel. He walks with other dogs, he doesn’t react to them or any dogs that he sees out and about. Although we haven’t had him free running with another dog as don’t get the opportunity at the kennels. 

Deano needs an active, experienced owner, maybe someone who can continue to work him either in obedience or working trials. I have done a little scent work with him and he picked it up in an instant. He just needs someone who has the time to spend building a relationship with him and looking towards using his brain as he certainly is a bright spark.
